Detailed Transcription
Detailed transcription is used more frequently in places like academia, especially for those studying the interactions between people. For example, someone studying whether or not the sigh of a telephone interviewer has an effect on the response option chosen by the interviewee would need extremely detailed and carefully crafted transcripts.
